Why you should (or shouldn't) trust what we publish.
At Travel Hacks, Everything is written by someone who's done the trip. We don't outsource posts to writers who've never been to the place.
Before a post goes live, we verify the price, the link, and any rule we cite. If a hack has an obvious catch, we say so in the post.
Bali is the only city where we have on-the-ground checkers right now. For other cities, the post will tell you what we're less sure about.
Affiliate links to Viator and GetYourGuide help pay for the site. They never change which hack we recommend. If you find an error, email us — we'd rather fix it than rank for a wrong page.
Reads everything before it ships and keeps the voice consistent.
Travel a lot and write up what they actually used.
Friends on the ground who flag price/rule changes when they happen.
When we cite a price, we link to where we saw it. If it moves, the post gets a note.
Busy pages get revisited every quarter or when something changes (visa rules, currency, etc.).
Email a correction and you'll usually see the fix the same day.
